A life in design produces a lot of things. They exist in the world, separate from the minds and hands that created them. What is left behind are lessons learned in and as a consequence of their creation. Ever curious, the creative impulse alive, the designer moves on, seeking the next opportunity to give form to what arises in imagination.
These are a few of the things I have left behind, products of my imagination, intentions given form.
None were mine alone to create. As with all creation, they are the products of a multitude of minds and hands working together – co-designers, business partners, users, clients, vendors, collaborators all. Many more are the shoulders we stand on – the designers of past ages on whose creations we build on, whose work makes up the landscape into which each new design is placed.
